Instructions
Step 1
Drizzle some olive oil over the prawns, season with salt, and some freshly ground pepper.
Step 2
Place a pan over high heat. When your pan gets nice and hot add the prawns and cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the cooked prawns to a plate and set aside.
Step 4
Coarsely chop an onion and add it to the pan.
Step 5
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar, a pinch of chili flakes, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
Step 6
Add 20 ml of ouzo and cook until the alcohol is evaporated.
Step 7
Finely chop 2 ripe tomatoes and add them to the pan.
Step 8
Add the prawns back, and the boiled pasta.
Step 9
Finely chop 4-5 basil leaves and thinly slice 1 spring onion and sprinkle over the top. Grate the zest of 1 lemon, and mix.
Step 10
Add some grated parmesan and serve.
