Instructions

Prepping the chicken

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425° f
Step 2
Pat away excess moisture from the chicken breast with a paper towel
Step 3
Rub the chicken breast thoroughly with a generous amount of the Tony Chachere's seasoning and a low to moderate amount of sea salt
Step 4
Place the chicken breast on the pan and sprinkle basil on top of it
Step 5
Bake the chicken for 10 minutes at 425° f

The "sauce"

Step 6
While the chicken is baking mix the olive oil and lemon juice in a small bowl
Step 7
Add Tony Chachere's seasoning, sea salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to the mixture to taste
Step 8
Mix a small amount of parmesan cheese into the mixture until it is roughly the viscosity of a runny egg

Back to the chicken

Step 9
When the chicken is done baking take it out of the oven and brush a THICK a layer of the sauce over the chicken breast (use all of it if you can)
Step 10
Pop the chicken back in the oven for another 5 minutes at 425° f
Step 11
Once the chicken is done baking take it out of the oven and sprinkle a layer of parmesan cheese on top of the chicken breast (this is up to individual preference)
Step 12
Put the chicken back in the oven for an extra 2 minutes at 425° f
Step 13
Once the chicken is done baking it's finally ready to eat!
