Instructions

Step 1
Add milk, water and butter to a pan. *High wall flat pan is best.*
Step 2
Bring this to low simmer over low/medium heat, stirring frequently.
Step 3
Now slowly add cheese, while stirring.
Step 4
Add sour cream and pasta, mix well. *The sour cream will combine as it cooks.*
Step 5
Once the pasta is al dente, lid and remove from the heat. Allow to rest 10 minutes.

Adjust seasoning and serve,

It's to thick!

Did you add way more than 8 oz of cheese? Then add milk (1/4 cup) at a time and combine fully. Repeat this until it is the consistency you want.

Rub your baking dish with the butter.

Whisk everything but the pasta together in the dish.

Evenly pour in the pasta. Being sure it is all submerged.

Cover tightly with oven safe paper and foil.

Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
Step 13
Remove cover, sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs and bake an additional 10 minutes (or until GBD)
