Instructions

For the Biscuits

Step 1
Preheat oven to 450
Step 2
Mix ingredients in a large bowl.
Step 3
Dough should be tacky. If it's sticky, add flower until it's tacky.
Step 4
Spread parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Step 5
Separate about an ice cream scoop size of dough and drop it on the parchment paper.
Step 6
Repeat until the pan is full. We usually get about 12 biscuits out of it. If you have extra dough after dropping the biscuits, just distribute the extra dough to the existing biscuits until they all look about the same size.
Step 7
Bake in middle of the oven for 8-12 minutes, or until edges just start to golden.

For the Gravy

Step 8
On a fry pan, cook sausage until browned tidbits.
Step 9
Remove sausage from pan, leaving the grease in the pan.
Step 10
Add butter and allow to brown while scraping bits off bottom of skillet with whisk.
Step 11
Slowly whisk the flour into the grease.
Step 12
Add the salt and pepper.
Step 13
Add milk until you reach the consistency you want. Keep in mind, when the gravy cools, it will congeal a little.
Step 14
Stir the sausage bits back into the mixture
Step 15
Serve with Biscuits.
