Instructions
Step 1
cook onion and butter in skillet over medium heat until onion is tender.
Step 2
stir in biscuit mix into the butter and onion sauce.
Step 3
place mixture into crockpot
Step 4
add water, tomato paste, celery, bell peppers, salt, sugar, bay leaves, and black pepper.
Step 5
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours
Step 6
Turn crock pot to HIGH and add shrimp. Cook for another hour.
Step 7
remove bay leaves and serve over rice
