Cinnamon roll cookies or CRUMBL cinnamon swirl cookies are the ultimate treat. They are easy to make and taste just like a cinnamon roll.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 1
Line baking sheet with parchement paper; set aside.
Step 2
Cream butter& sugars together until light & creamy. Add egg, lemon juice, & vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
Step 3
Gently mix in flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, & salt.
Step 4
Scoop out 7 equally sized cookie dough balls; top with cinnamon-sugar balls.
Step 5
Chill in freezer (15 min.)
Step 6
Bake (14 min.).
Step 7
Cool cookies on baking sheet (10 min.) before transferring to a cooling rack to cool fully.

Cinnamon-Sugar

Step 8
Mix softened butter, brown sugar, sugar, flour, & cinnamon together in sm. bowl; divide into 7 little balls.
Step 9
Top each cookie with a ball; gently press on top before freezing cookie dough balls.

Cream Cheese

Step 10
Cream butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, & vanilla together until smooth & creamy. Fill piping bag with cream cheese frosting; pipe all around to create a beautiful swirl design. Enjoy.

Notes

Step 11
Store cookies in an airtight container in fridge (up to 7 days). (Because they have cream cheese frosting it’s better not to leave them out at room temp.)
Step 12
If you do prefer to leave them out at room temperature though, you can leave them unfrosted in an airtight container, and then whenever you’re ready to enjoy them frost them & enjoy!
