Instructions

Preparing the dough

Step 1
In a big bowl, mix the butter with the sugar and the vanilla extract

Crack in the first egg and mix until everything blends in together

Add the second egg

Do the same with the rest of the eggs

Add the baking powder and the cornflour and mix

Gradually pour in the flour and collect the dough until it has a consistency that no longer sticks

Oil your hands to make a ball

Cover with cling film and let it rest for 1/2 hour

Cooking the biscuits

On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 cm then cut out some shapes using your favourite molds

In a bowl, beat one egg yolk then brush the tops of the biscuits with it

Preheat the oven to 150 ° C.

Put the plate in the oven, watching it carefully. The biscuits should be golden underneath but lightly tanned on the top
