Beef Stew with Mushroom Gravy
Beef stew meat simmered via crockpot in a brown mushroom gravy. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.

Ingredients
6 servings

2 lbbeef stew meat

12 ozbaby Bella mushrooms

1 packetbrown gravy mix

1 packetonion soup mix

1can cream of mushroom soup

1yellow onion
diced

3cloves garlic
minced

4 tbutter

2 cupswater
could substitute beef broth with a splash of red wine

olive oil

salt

pepper

cinnamon

1 cuplong grain rice
could also use potatoes or egg noodles
Instructions
Step 1
Sear the beef in a skillet with olive oil
Add to crock pot when browned
Step 2
Sauté onion and garlic in butter. Add the crock pot when softened.
Step 3
Mix gravy, onion soup mix, cream soup, and water (broth/wine). Pour into crockpot.
Step 4
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
Step 5
Serve over rice, potatoes, or egg noodles.
