Instructions
Step 1
Crush and rough chop the garlic. Thinly cut the onion into slices.
Step 2
Sautee the garlic and onions until the onions are translucent. Then add bagoong and sautee for another minute.
Step 3
In a food processor add the peanuts along with the oil and bagoong mixute and blend until slightly you get small grains. Set aside.
Step 4
Trim off the ends of the Brussel sprouts and cut in half. Discard the stems and leaves that fell off. Put in a bowl and toss with some oil.
Step 5
Air fry the sprouts at 400 degrees F for 12 minutes, then flip and cook again for another 5 minutes.
Step 6
In a bowl add the peanut relish with a little bit of calamansi or lemon juice. You can also add the chili flakes if you like it spicy. Mix well. Add the Brussel sprouts and toss thoroughly and plate. Serve warm.
