Air fryer chicken parmesean

A lighten up version of fried chicken parmigiana that’s still crispy and delicious! Serve alone for a lower carb meal or with pasta.

Instructions

Step 1
Butterfly the chicken, cut all the way through do you have 8 thin chicken cutlets. Salt and pepper to taste

In 3 separate shallow bowls add the flour- season to taste, the eggs, and the panko
Step 3
In an assembly line, dredge the chicken in the flour, then eggs, then panko , pressing the panko into the chicken.
Step 4
Add to the air fryer, you’ll need to work in batches to not over crowd. Cook at 400° for 5 minutes. Flip and cook another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Cover each chicken breast with the sauce and cheese. Cook another 3 minutes.
Step 6
Continue with the rest of the chicken.
Step 7
Serve alone, with salad, pasta or zoodles
