Air Fryer Salmon Power Bowl
AIRFIRED SALMON POWER BOWL -
.
This is one of those EASY meals that will have you fall in love with healthy food. And as always, I promise you will fall in love with this sauce.
.
You can easily make a bigger portion of this sauce to use for different applications throughout the week - either on salads, on other proteins, or whatever you want. Its so versatile and delicious. I really suggest you do.
.
Here is how I made it:
.
1.Start with 1lb salmon. Cut it into cubes or whatever shape you want. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon avocado oil, add a couple pinches salt, 1/2 to 1 tbsp fine garlic powder, 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika and 1 tablespoon of white and 1 tbsp of black sesame seeds. Massage it in well and pop into the airfryer at 400F for 8ish minutes. You can also bake this in the oven if you prefer.
.
2.While the salmon is cooking, lets make the sauce and cut up the veggies. For the sauce, mix 4 tablespoons mayo, the juice of 1/2 a lime, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons sriracha, a small pinch of Chile lime seasoning, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp garlic powder or 1 finely minced garlic clove. Give it a good mix. Give it a taste, and adjust with anything more you want. I usually add more lime juice to make it more citrusy and make the sauce last longer.
.
3.Then cut up your veggies and prepare your base. For the base, I used about 1/2 cup cauli rice, but you can use quinoa, any type of rice, or go without if you prefer. I also used a large handful arugula, Persian cucumbers, half an avocado, some edamame, diced red onion, and furikake in addition to the sauce.
.
4.When the salmon is done, add it to your base, then top it up with your toppings, sauce, and enjoy.
.
If you make it, be sure to let me know on SHREDHAPPENS
.
ENJOY.
