Instructions

Step 1
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and sugar.

Add butter until it resembles crumbs

Add cottage cheese, milk, eggs, rum, and lemon zest.

Fold in raisins, cherries and nuts.
Step 5
Turn dough onto slightly floured surface. Kneed 2 or 3 time to shape into ovals.
Step 6
Lightly flour rolling pin and roll to a 10 x 8 rectangle.
Step 7
Fold over 3/4 of the dough, brush with egg white and see as l by pressing down lightly.
Step 8
Bake at 350° for 50 - 60 minutes
