Instructions
Step 1
In oil, saute onions until translucent, add ground beef, and cook to almost completely brown. Add minced garlic and Rotel. Mix, then season as you would tacos.

Grease casserole pan
Step 3
Put meat in bottom of dish and pack. Add refried beans. If queso is more firm when heated, add here.
Step 4
Cover with tater tots.
Step 5
Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Remove and sprinkle more taco seasoning over whole casserole. If queso is liquid when heated, add here by pouring over the top of the tater tots. Cover with shredded cheese.
Step 7
Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
