Pasta with winter greens, onions and raisins

Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add greens. Cook until stems are tender. Remove greens from pot and let drain.
Step 2
Add pasta to boiling water and cook until al dente.
Step 3
Meanwhile heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add a pinch or two of pepper flakes and cook for moment or two, then add onions and sauté until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add raisins and nuts and cook until onion is tender.
Step 5
Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
Step 6
Add greens and sauté, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired. Add about 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water if mixture seems dry.
Step 7
Add pasta to the pan and stir to combine. Sprinkle Parmesan on top and serve.
