Step 1
Put pumpkin in casserole dish with butter, salt and sugar. Stir a few minutes. Add stock and simmer until pumpkin is tender.
Step 2
Rub through sieve, then add milk and flour mixed with milk. Cook for 15 minutes and serve hot with sourdough bread slices.
