Instructions

Step 1
In a large pan, brown beef with onion and seasonings.
Step 2
Stir in tomato sauce, paste, mushrooms and water.
Step 3
Slinmer 10 to 15 minutes. The mixture should be thin.
Step 4
Mix together cottage, ricotta and Parmesan cheeses.
Step 5
Spray a 9 x 13 pan with Pam.
Step 6
Layer 1/3 of the uncooked noodles, 1/3 of the cheese mixture, 1/3 of the sauce, and 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella.
Step 7
Continue with two more layers of each until pon is filled.
Step 8
Bake at 350° for one to one and half hours. Cover with foil for the first hour.
Step 9
Cut into 8 equal pieces.
Step 10
Freeze if desired.
