Instructions
Step 1
Rinse rice twice and soak in water for 60 minutes
Step 2
Soak mushrooms in warm water for 60 minutes
Step 3
Drain mushrooms, rinse off grit, then slice
Step 4
Heat oil in saucepan
Step 5
Add onions, mushroom and sausage and cook for 5 minutes
Step 6
Drain rise, add to onions and cook for 1 minute
Step 7
Add chicken broth, soya sauce and sesame oil
Step 8
Bring to a boil and season with salt and pepper
Step 9
Cover, lower heat and cook for 20 minutes
Step 10
Let rest for 15 minutes
Step 11
Top with green onions
