Step 1
Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2 Cook and drain macaroni.
Step 3
Step 3 Melt butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir in flour and mix well. Add the milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.

Step 4 Add salt, sugar, and cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.

Step 5 Add sour cream and cottage cheese. Stir well.

Step 6 Put macaroni ,cheddar, and Swiss cheese in a BIG bowl. Pour in cream cheese sauce. Stir well.

Step 7 Pour into a greased 9x13" (or bigger" casserole dish.

Step 8 Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers over the top and drizzle with melted butter.
Step 9
Step 9 Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crackers are golden brown.
