Green Blend: Sweet Pea Base Blend

From Missy Chase Lapine's "Sneaky Blends" cookbook. This will be helpful for other recipes from her book, which will be added to this Sneaky Veggie community. "Be sure to look for sweet baby peas--they're much more delicious than bigger, starchier, regular peas. And yes, go frozen. Can you imagine shelling that many fresh peas? Yikes!"

Instructions

Step 1
Place the peas in a large, heatproof bowl. Bring a medium pot of tap water to a boil, then pour the water over the peas to thaw them.
Step 2
Drain, then blend the peas with 1/4 cup filtered water and puree until smooth.
