Step 1
Finely chop the onion, garlic, and dill.

Mix together the minced meat, cottage cheese, separately beaten egg, onion, garlic, and dill. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and dried herbs if you prefer.

Depending on the consistency and only if needed, add breadcrumbs until the mixture is no longer liquid. The result should be sticky and soft, but not runny. Keep the rest of the breadcrumbs in a bowl, for later.

Step 4
With clean and wet hands, roll into small flat balls, then dip into the remaining breadcrumbs on both sides.
Step 5
Fry on medium heat for approximately 5 minutes or until brown on the outside. It's recommended to flip them halfway through.
