1 poundground chuck
1onion

1green bell pepper

3cloves garlic

1 teaspoonthyme
1 tablespoonbrown sugar

32 ounceschicken broth
29 ouncespetite diced tomatoes
1can tomato sauce
2 teaspoonsitalian seasoning
½ teaspoonsalt
2 cupsLasagna noodles

5 ouncesparmesan cheese
grated
2 cupsmozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
Step 1
In a Dutch oven, combine chuck, onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook over medium – high heat until beef is browned and crumbled. Drain well.
Stir in thyme, brown sugar, broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and salt. Bring to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add noodles and simmer until noodles are tender. Start in Parmesan cheese. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
