Step 1
1️⃣ To a heavy bottomed pan, add ghee on low-med heat and then add carrots. Cook for several minutes until they've softened a bit.

2️⃣ Add sugar and roasted nuts if using and continue cooking for a few minutes, scraping the bottom of the pan as needed.
Step 3
3️⃣ Once you see the ghee start separating and sticking to the pan, turn your heat to low and slowly add in your milk while constantly mixing.
Step 4
4️⃣ Continuously mix until the halwa has thickened completely.
Step 5
5️⃣ Turn off heat and mix in cardamom powder and top with extra roasted nuts if you'd like.
