Step 1
Combine sugar, spices, flour in a bowl.

Step 2
Peel and chop apples. Make sure they aren't too thin or they'll turn to mush. Squeeze lemon into apples (or any citrus on hand). Coat with spice/sugar bowl mixture.

Step 3
Add apple mixture to pie crust. Chop up cold tablespoon of butter and sprinkle it around apples.
Step 4
Take second crust and roll it out with a rolling pin. Cut large lattice or any other design you like. Make sure there are some vent holes.

Step 5
Beat egg whites and brust over top of pie crust. Add a little sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Cover edges of the pie with foil.

Step 6
Heat over to 375 degrees and bake pie for 30 minutes. Remoe the foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until the crust is an even golden brown.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
