Ingredients

1 Tbspolive oil
450gground sausage
substitute ground beef, turkey, chicken, pork, or vegan meat alternative, salmon, shrimp, or omit entirely
0.25onion
small, thinly sliced
1 Tbspfresh ginger
minced
2cloves garlic
minced
2 Tbspsoy sauce
coconut aminos, or liquid aminos
4 cupscabbage
shredded
1 cupbutton mushrooms
sliced
⅓ cupcarrots
shredded
¼ cupgreen onion
chopped
1 Tbspsesame oil
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and cook ground sausage and white onion over medium heat, until sausage is fully cooked.
Step 2
Up next, mix in minced garlic, ginger and soy sauce.
Step 3
Add cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms to the skillet and mix everything until well incorporated.
Step 4
Once you see that the veggies have softened, remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the sesame oil and top with green onions and serve.
Step 5
Buy prepared coleslaw and use in place of the carrots and cabbage.
