Panda Express Chow Mein (Perfect Copycat)

For me one of the best part of PE's chow mein is the texture. I don't think the oodles called for were the right fit for this recipe. Flavor was fine but a thicker, firmer noodle is needed.

Definitely need to cut noodles to one package - 6 oz (or half of 12 oz box)...AND double the sauce as another person mentioned. I used the Asian noodles..make sure you rinse them good...was bit pasty. Once I doctored it up, wasn't bad. DID NOT THINK IT WAS MUCH LIKE PANDA EXPRESS.

Delicious and easy to make. I ended up using only 1 package (6 oz) of yakisoba noodles and doubled the sauces.

My hubby took one bite and I think his eyes rolled back in his head. He had been craving Panda Express Chow Mein for a while. He said this recipe was exactly like Panda Express's. I doubled the oyster sauce and soy sauce but otherwise followed this recipe exactly. (I used low sodium soy sauce. We're old...gotta watch the salt😊) Next time I will try cutting back a bit on the oil.
