Instructions

Step 1
Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 2
Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
Step 3
Pour salsa on top.
Step 4
Cook on low (for 6-8 hours) or high (for 4 hours).
Step 5
Just before serving, use two forks to shred the chicken.
Step 6
Stir to evenly distribute salsa throughout chicken. Drain excess juice, if necessary.
Step 7
Serve immediately with optional toppings as desired.
