After playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus this weekend I really wanted to make potato mochi as a tasty snack. These are super easy to make and are so chewy, sweet, salty, and delicious! I show a few ways to prepare the potato mochi so you can either try them all or pick your favorite. Have a lovely day and enjoy~! :)

Instructions
Step 1
1. Peel and cut the potato, season with salt, and put in the heat-safe bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until the potato is soft, about 4 minutes.
Step 2
2. Add the cooked potato to a mixing bowl and mash until there are no lumps. Add in the potato starch and mix again.
Step 3
3. Add in the milk a few tablespoons at a time until a workable dough forms. Knead until smooth.
Step 4
4. Cut into 6 pieces and form into patties. Add the cheese or fillings into the middle and decorate with toppings of your choice, or keep them plain.
Step 5
5. Add oil to the skillet and set to med-low heat. Fry the mochis until browned on both sides. Set mochis aside and wipe out the excess oil.
Step 6
6. Mix together the sauce ingredients and add to the skillet. Place the mochis into the sauce and cook, flipping occasionally, until the sauce is thick and sticky.
Step 7
7. Plate and finish by coating the potato mochi with the sauce.
Step 8
8. Enjoy!
