This delicious tofu donburi is made with crispy cubes of firm tofu coated in a sticky teriyaki glaze and served with pan-fried green onions and bell peppers over a bed of fluffy rice. It's seriously satisfying and ready in just 20 minutes!

Instructions
Step 1
Wrap tofu in kitchen paper, microwave for 2 minutes at 600W, then cool.
Step 2
Fry bell pepper and leeks in a pan until lightly charred. Set aside.
Step 3
Cut cooled tofu into cubes.
Step 4
Mix salt, pepper, and potato starch on a plate.
Step 5
Heat oil in the same pan over medium heat. Coat tofu pieces in starch mixture and fry until golden brown on all sides, turning occasionally.
Step 6
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and garlic paste.
Step 7
Pour sauce into the pan with tofu. Add charred vegetables and cook until glaze thickens and coats everything evenly, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 8
Serve over cooked Japanese rice in bowls.
Step 9
Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and a drizzle of chili oil.
