Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°

Cream Cheese Filling

Step 2
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup of butter until fluffy. Then add sugar and beat until smooth.
Step 3
Add the green onion, 1 tbsp. of garlic and pepper and grated cheese (optional); beat until well blended.

Garlic Butter

Step 4
In a bowl, add remaining melted butter along with egg and milk. Whisk well until smooth, then add parsley and minced 2 tbsp. of garlic, and mix thoroughly.

Assembly

Step 5
Spread filling on one tortilla (pita/flatbread), dip into garlic butter.
Step 6
Then stack another tortilla and spread filling and continue to stack until desired number of layers is achieved (at least 7 layers are recommended).
Step 7
Dip top final layer into garlic butter and add to tortilla stack, then dip entire tortilla stack into the garlic butter mix and let soak into the bread.
Step 8
Sprinkle with green onions.
Step 9
Place onto parchment paper and place in oven on 350° for 5-10 mins.
