Step 1
Boil potatoes in chicken broth and seasonings
Step 2
Chop bacon (or you can use bacon bits) place in skillet and cook until almost done. Add onion and cook until soft
Step 3
One potatoes are done add milk, butter, cheese and sour cream.
Step 4
To thicken, mix flour or cornstarch in a small bowl with water or broth from soup stir and pour in.
Step 5
Simmer until thickened to desired consistency. Then serve with piece of warm bread (optional)
