Soy curls ginger “beef”

Instructions

Step 1
Whisk all ingredients together in a pot and bring to a simmer on medium heat.
Step 2
Mix 2-3 tsp cornstarch with 1-2 tbsp water, then whisk into sauce.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low and simmer for a few minutes, whisking often, then remove from heat.
Step 4
Make rice
Step 5
Steam or fry up some broccoli
Step 6
Soak soy curls, dry out completely (very dry!! ) , when dried … deep fry the soy curls (small batches of soy curls with hot oil for crunchy soy curls )
Step 7
Add the fried curls to the pan with broccoli and add in the sauce
Step 8
Toppings: Sprinkle black sesame seeds, peanuts or cashews, green onions etc
Step 9
** Ratios are kind of rough, so taste along the way! If it's too salty for your preference, you can always dilute it by adding a few more teaspoons of cornstarch mixed with 1/2-1 cup or so of water.
