0.5 lbshrimp
large, peeled & deveined

2sausage
sliced into medium chunks

0.5red bell pepper
small diced

0.5yellow bell pepper
small diced

0.5yellow onion
small, diced

4garlic gloves
thinly sliced or minced

oil
as needed

1 Tbspunsalted butter

1 cupSaffron yellow rice

1potato
peeled and diced into small cubes

1 ½ cupwater
or chicken stock

chili powder
to taste

garlic powder
to taste

salt
to taste

1 TbspGochugang
Instructions
Step 1
In a large pan over medium heat add 1 Tbsp of oil , then add your sausage & remove after they’ve brown
Step 2
Add the shrimp , and season with the chili powder , garlic powder & salt . Once you sear them on both sides remove and set aside .
Step 3
Add your potatoes and sauté for a few then add your peppers and onions. Sauté for 2 minutes then add the garlic.


Step 4
Add the butter followed by the rice toast for a the rice making sure stir i constantly. Add the gochugang and mix . Then add the water or chicken stock .



Step 5
Add the sausage back in ; turn the heat on high and once most the water evaporates, lower heat to low . Try to form the up to a mountain ⛰. Then cover and allow to simmer for 15 minutes . Remember to add the shrimp in towards the end right before the rice has been fully cooked .
