Tom Kerridge’s Hearty One-Pot Sausage and Bean Stew
Who doesn't love a warming sausage stew? My version packs a punch thanks to sweet smoked paprika and fragrant rosemary. Other spices you have in the cupboard, such as cumin or chilli flakes, would also work well

Instructions
Step 1
1. Heat a splash of olive oil in a large ovenproof casserole dish over a medium heat. Add the sausages and pan-fry for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 2
2. Add the onion and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and fry for another 2 minutes. Stir in the chopped rosemary and sweet paprika.
Step 3
3. Add the tomatoes to the pan, then fill the tin halfway up with water and add this too. Bring to a simmer.
Step 4
4. Add the green beans to the pan along with the cannellini beans and stir well. Return the sausages to the pan and simmer for a further 5 minutes, or until the sausages have cooked through and the green beans are tender. Season to taste and serve with crusty bread.
