Chilli Garlic Udon

Instructions

Step 1
1. Cook your udon noodles according to packet instructions. Rinse with cold water and set aside.

2. In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add in the garlic and whites of the spring onion and fry until fragrant and golden. Add the chilli flakes and fry for another minute.

3. Add in the light, soy sauce, dark, soy sauce and sugar and mix well. Stir through the sesame oil and chilli oil.
Step 4
4. Add in your cooked udon and fry over medium high for 1 minute until the noodles become well coated in the sauce. You can add a few tbsp water here if needed.
Step 5
5. Transfer into a bowl and garnish with green parts of the spring onion and sesame seeds. Serve immediately!
