Ingredients

2 poundsmeat strips
can be used for pork
⅔ cuppineapple juice
1 tablespoongarlic powder
1 tablespoononion powder
2 tablespoonscracked black pepper
1 teaspoonred pepper flakes
optional
½ cupbrown sugar
¼ cupteriyaki sauce
⅔ cupsoy sauce
¼ cupworcestershire sauce
⅓ cupbalsamic vinegar
1 ½ tablespoonsliquid smoke flavoring
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Put meat strips in a plastic bag or container.
Step 2
Add ingredients and mix well.
Step 3
Marinate for 24 hours or more.
Step 4
(pork) Put all marinade ingredients into a pot or sauce pan.
Step 5
(pork) Add an additional 1-2 cups of beer or water and bring to a boil.
Step 6
(pork) Add pork strips to the marinade and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 7
(pork) Remove from heat and allow the sauce and meat to cool completely.
Step 8
(pork) Place in a plastic bag and marinate for 12-24 hours in the fridge.
Step 9
Dehydrate or smoke.
