Instructions
Step 1
toast the sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat, then set them aside
Step 2
cut the potatoes into medium pieces
Step 3
add some oil to the pan and brown the potatoes
Step 4
mix the water, soy sauce, lime juice and honey in a bowl. mix until well combined.
Step 5
mince the garlic and add it when the potatoes are brown
Step 6
when the garlic starts browning, add the soy sauce mixture
Step 7
bring it to a boil and let simmer with a lid until the potatoes are fork tender
Step 8
remove the lid and reduce the sauce until it has thickened to a sticky glaze
Step 9
add in the butter
Step 10
top with toasted sesame seeds
