1 ½ cupfrozen mixed red berries
like strawberry and raspberry, red
1 Tbsphoney
optional
1 Tbspgreek yogurt
or dairy-free/vegan yogurt/ optional
1 cupfrozen mango
ALL COLOURS BUT RED
½ cupfrozen pineapples
for TURQUOISE, BLUE, LIGHT YELLOW
1 tspspirulina

1 cupcoconut milk
frozen for TURQUOISE, BLUE, LIGHT YELLOW
½ cupsbananas
frozen for TURQUOISE, BLUE, LIGHT YELLOW
½ cupskiwi frozen

Instructions
Step 1
RED: Start by adding a splash of unsweetened milk to the blender. Toss your favourite mixed red fruit mix to the blender, like strawberries and raspberries. I recommend adding 1 tsp of honey and perhaps also 1 Tbso of greek yogurt to the red blend.
Step 2
Blend the red smoothie mix until smooth. Transfer the whole blend to 2 glasses as the bottom rainbow layer, and temporarily store the glasses in the freezer (or cold fridge).
Step 3
Rinse the blender quickly with warm water (no soap needed), and then with cold water to keep it cold.
Step 4
WARM YELLOW.
Add a splash of unsweetened milk to the blender, followed by the frozen mango.
Step 5
Blend until smooth, using the pulse setting and tamper.
Step 6
Take the glasses, (with the RED layer) out of the freezer, and transfer the WARM YELLOW blend as a 2nd layer in the rainbow glass, with a spoon. (No need to clean the blender now for the next step)
Step 7
LIGHT YELLOW (and base for TURQUOISE/ BLUE)
Add the bananas, pineapples and frozen milk ice cubes to the blender. Blend it until smooth. Only scoop a small layer into the rainbow glass, and leave the leftover in the blender. Store the rainbow glass in the fridge.
Step 8
BLUE: Scoop 4-5 Tbsp to the side out of the LIGHT YELLOW blender mix into a glass to make the blue (last layer) and add 0.5 tbsp of blue spirulina powder. Blend it in manually with a spoon. Store it in the freezer, so you can add it as the final layer.
Step 9
TURQUOISE / LIGHT GREEN LAYER.
Continue with the LIGHT YELLOW BASE and add frozen kiwi slices to the mix. If you like it more green, then add spinach and optional matcha powder to the blender. If you like it more turquise, then you can add 0.5 tsp of spirulina to the blend. Blend and mash until smooth.
Step 10
Take out the rainbow glass out of the freezer, and scoop the turquise smooothie blend on top of the glass.
Step 11
Finally add the blue blend as the last layer on top, that you had stored also n the freezer.
