- To lock in more juices, season your chicken and sear it in a hot frying pan on both sides prior to putting in the oven (even better an oven safe pan). If you are in a hurry, that's okay, just put them in the oven seasoned and cover.

- Optional - For the last 2 minutes of cooking, remove the foil and broil to crisp the tops.

- Preheat oven to 425F

- Place thawed chicken in oven safe pan and coat with seasoning. (or sear chicken on both sides then add to baking dish)

- Add approximately 3/4 cup potato water (or water) to the dish. Just enough to cover the bottom of the dish with water. (Add more if needed)

- Cover with foil and bake for 20 to 25 min until juices run clear. For the last 2 minutes of cooking remove the foil and broil to crisp the tops.
Step 8
- Remove from oven and let rest, covering with foil while you prepare the gravy.
Step 9
- Pour the drippings into a pot and heat to a boil.
Step 10
- Make a SLURRY, 11 ratio water and corn starch. Pour the slurry into the boiling gravy stirring constantly until thickened.
Step 11
- Slice your chicken if desired, and drizzle with gravy.
