Instructions
Step 1
Add 1 tsp of oil into heavy bottom pot. Once oil is hot, add salted and peppered cubed beef and brown meat
Step 2
Add onion, garlic, thyme, habanero peppers, cloves, cinnamon sticks. Sauté together for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Combine cassareep to beef mixture and add water until stew is completely submerged
Step 4
Bring stew to a boil then simmer for 2-3 hours until beef is tender
