Home made Rajma Recipe. This recipe serves 7 persons. Rajma or Kidney beans are a very good source of protein and fiber especially for vegetarians.
I like to soak Rajma overnight. This recipe is made in pressure cooker. I have used the same method to make in instant pot and the results have been excellent. I always like to make double the quantity as my family loves this and I do not mind leftovers for the next day or day after😊
Hope you enjoy this recipe.

Step 2
Make gravy by sautéing onions, puréed tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Sauté until all the moisture is dried up. Mix up boiled rajma without its water and sauté on low flame for 7/8 minutes and then add the water in which rajma was boiled. Give good boil to it for 10 minutes or close the cooker with lid and cook for 5 minutes and let it naturally release the pressure. Garnish with garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves and cilantro.
