Lemon syrup

16 ozmascarpone cheese

8 ozlemon curd

¼ cuplimoncello

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 ½ cupheavy whipping cream

¼ cupsugar

1 packagelady fingers
Sugared lemon zest topping
Instructions
Step 1
Add water and sugar and zest to a small sauce pan and cook over medium heat until dissolved then add limoncellos and lemon juice




Step 2
In a large bowl whip the cream and sugar with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form


Step 3
In a separate large bowl use a hand mixer to mix together mascarpone, lemon curd, lemon juice and limoncello.




Step 4
Add the whipped cream to the mascarpone mixture and gently fold in to combine.
Step 5
Mix the lemon zest and 1/4 sugar and massage together and set aside


Step 6
Start assembling by dipping your ladyfingers into your cooled lemon syrup, and layer the bottom of the dish. Place about half of the lemon filling over top, repeat the process, one more time and then sprinkle your lemon zest sugar on top.
