Instructions
Step 1
Add some oil in a pan, fry ginger and onion rings. Add Chinese sausage and sugar. Fry until ginger and onion are crispy.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, add in the oil, garlic and shallot. Turn heat to low and let the garlic and shallot cook slowly until they begin to brown but not burn.
Step 3
Use a slotted spoon and remove the shallots and garlic and discard, leaving the flavored oil.
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Drizzle the sauce over Chinese sausage.
