Instructions
Step 1
To a pan add the smoked sausage and onion. Cook for 5 minutes until the sausage has a nice color to it. (While the sausage is cooking heat up a bag of microwaveable broccoli according to the package)
Step 2
Add the minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the broccoli, chicken broth, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
Step 4
Add the rice and submerge as best as possible. Switch the heat to low, cover, and cook for 7 minutes.
Step 5
Stir once before serving.
