Instructions

Step 1
Boil your milk.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar for a couple of minutes.
Step 3
Incorporate corn starch and finally boiled milk then put your liquid into a saucepan over medium low heat.
Step 4
Stir continuously until the liquid thickens (it will take approximately 5 mins).
Step 5
In the meantime, whip your cold cream with a mixer until nice and fluffy (it will take a couple of mins).
Step 6
When your custard is cold, add it to your whipped cream and mix it until it’s incorporated.
Step 7
In the meantime, cut your puff pastry into squares and place them on a baking tray previously lined with parchment paper.
Step 8
Brush each square with room temperature milk and bake for 10-15 mins (180C/360F).
Step 9
Let your squares cool down then cut them in half. Fill each square with your cream and decorate with icing sugar.
