Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 375.
Step 2
Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil and a single layer of saltines.
Step 3
Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until slightly thickened.
Step 4
Pour sugar mixture evenly over saltines and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
Step 5
Remove sheet pan from oven and pour chocolate chips evenly over saltines.
Step 6
Put sheet pan back into oven to melt the chocolate, about 30-60 seconds. Remove from oven and spread melted chocolate with a butter knife.
Step 7
Add toppings of your choice and freeze sheet pan.
Step 8
Once frozen, crack into pieces.
Step 9
Refrigerate any leftovers.
