Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter or oil a 9x9 baking pan.
Step 2
Saute cubed spam on medium heat. Once browned on most sides, remove from pan.
Step 3
Melt butter in the pan and scrape to release any bits on the bottom. Add minced jalapeño and saute until slightly blackened.
Step 4
In a large bowl, mix cornbread mix, milk, oil, egg, creamed corn, cheese, honey, and chili powder. Once mixed, add fried spam and jalapeños and gently combine.
Step 5
Add mixture to oiled pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until lightly brown on top and cooked all the way through.
