Ginger Sesame Crusted Salmon

You’ll be amazed how well the sesame sticks and love how crispy this Sesame Crusted Salmon is. Serve it over a bowl of steamed rice with a fresh avocado salad and finish with a creamy spicy mayo.

Ingredients
4 servings
2salmon steaks
100 gramssesame seeds
3 Tbspsoy sauce
3 Tbsphoney
1 tspchilli flakes
1 Tbspginger
grated
2 Tbspsesame oil
olive oil
rice

For the salad
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients for the salad in a medium bowl together, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. Set aside.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the sesame seeds in a shallow bowl. Coat each salmon steak in seeds a place on prepared baking sheet (I recommend to drizzle the baking sheet with olive oil to prevent salmon from sticking). Bake in the oven 10-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked as you like it. While the salmon is baking, mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger and chilli in a small bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Always put a portion of rice in the bowl, then put a portion of salad and place the salmon steak on top. Pour the prepared sauce over the salmon and if you like, you can finish it with chilli mayo. Enjoy!
