Instructions

Step 1
Blend or mix tofu, and chopped mushrooms together. Add vegetables broth to dried falafel mix, stir and allow to stand for 15 to 30 minutes . Add remaining ingredients to the mushroom and tofu mixture. After falafel mix has been allowed to stand mix together with tofu mixture. Mixture should be moist and sticky but firm enough to form patties. Add more vegetable broth as needed. Bake falafel patties on parchment paper in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes (depending on the size of the falafel patties). Turn patties once half way through baking time. These can be fried in a skillet with your choice of oil. Baking cuts down on calories and fat without compromising the delicious flavor or crispness. Enjoy!
