Instructions
Step 1
Add 2 Tablespoons of Oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add in Sausages and cook for a couple minutes on each side to brown. We are not looking to fully cook during this step, but rather adding color to the outside and will fully cook in the sauce in later steps.
Step 2
Remove Sausages from the skillet and add in about 1 Tablespoon of Oil. Add in sliced onions, red & green bell peppers, and cook for about 2 minutes to soften onions & peppers. Then add in minced garlic, mix in, and cook for another minute.
Step 3
Add in Pasta Sauce, mix in, and bring to a simmer. Slice sausages into 1-inch pieces and add into skillet. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix in sausages so that they are covered in sauce and cook for about 5 minutes or until sausages have fully cooked. Mix periodically.
Step 4
Add to hoagies and enjoy.
