Step 1
Set oven to 475 degrees fahrenheit. Oil a baking dish , and place it inside the oven to warm up.
Step 2
Place chicken breast in a bowl. Add the seasonings and oil. Mix well.
Step 3
Once the chicken has marinated for at least 10 minutes. cut into cubes.
Step 4
For the dough mixture, take the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix together in large bowl. Slowly start adding water until you get the consistency similar to pancake batter. Make sure there are no lumps.
Step 5
Take the hot pan out of the oven carefully and pour the dough mixture. Shake pan lightly to even everything out. Place the chicken cubes on top evenly.
Step 6
Place the baking dish back into the oven. Let it bake for 25 minutes. Check occasionally.
Step 7
The dough should be light yellow, just a little bit crunchy and tough, while softer in the middle. The dough under the chicken will be the softest.
Step 8
Once the pie reaches this yellow / brown color, take the pie out of the oven. Take some milk and pour the milk over the sides of the dish and quickly place something on top to cover the dish. ( This will help create condensation and help the dough become softer).

Optional : Smother the top with sour cream
